Mt. Carmel uses their high powered mixing equipment to pulverize and blend the asphalt layer into a new, homogenous mixture that can be compacted in place as sub-base material.  On some projects the millings that are produced from Asphalt Pulverization can be used as fill on other areas of the project or they can be transported off site for use in Hot Mix Asphalt production or in other aggregate applications.  In both cases Asphalt Pulverization significantly reduces waste and project costs while producing a high quality end product.
