| In Soil Drying applications the untreated soil is overly wet and the high moisture content is causing problems with handling and meeting compaction requirements. In these instances, our intended result is to simply reduce the moisture content of the untreated soil bringing it back to within specified tolerances. Lime products have a tremendous thirst for moisture and are universally considered to be the most effective in drying applications. In most cases, our project managers and field superintendants can recommend the necessary lime application rate or we will often collaborate with the on-site testing personnel to determine the proper lime application rate to get the project back on schedule. |
