LEED The United States Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) rating system is the benchmark for the design, construction and operation of green buildings. The LEED movement began in 2000 and since then it has grown to nationwide promenence. Today there are thousands of projects in design and construction across the country that are in the process of applying for a LEED rating. In an effort to better serve our customers, Mt. Carmel Stabilization Group has researched LEED for New Construction and we are now well suited to help our customers acheive LEED credits for the work that we do on these projects.

In Design

Our project managers will work with your designated LEED project team members to ensure that the use of soil stabilization applications on the project will be included in your design submittal and that all aspects are properly documented including a submittal for Innovation in Design.

In Construction

All Mt. Carmel Stabilization project managers are equipped with a template form that will be the basis of the submittal documents to your LEED project team. We can provide LEED project teams with estimates prior to our operation and detailed submittal documents following the completion of our operation. Our goal is to make credit achievement for our work on your project as simple and hassle free as possible.

Which Credits? How Many?

The LEED rating system will have a dramatically different effect on each project based on several factors. As an example, our submittal could mean a jump in rating from Silver to Gold rating. Contact Mt. Carmel today to learn more about our impact on your LEED project.
